Why Appointed Exists
When a loved one passes away, families are left with something nobody prepares them for.
Not just grief. What comes after the grief is a long list of practical responsibilities that don't pause for anyone. The estate. The property. The accounts. The vendors. The decisions that have to be made immediately by people who are devastated.
Appointed was built because of exactly that moment.
Our founder experienced it firsthand — handling everything alone after losing the person who raised him, while his entire family was too overwhelmed to help. He did what needed to be done. But he never forgot what it felt like to carry all of it alone.
That experience became Appointed.

How Appointed Works
Appointed coordinates the execution of decisions made by the personal representative — typically guided by their attorney. We handle the operational work. All decisions and legal authority remain with the personal representative.
We serve families in the San Francisco Bay Area and Tri-Valley — specializing in estates with real property to coordinate.
Appointed is paid by the service providers we coordinate on your behalf — so our service costs your family nothing directly.
